Our neighbour Jason told me that some of Stacy’s friends are throwing her a surprise baby shower on Thursday.  So I set to work!  And last night I finished the cutest pair of baby sandals ever!  But I’ll let you be the judge!

I was so thankful I had these colours in my stash.  I was also happy to find these buttons because I didn’t think I had any!  The pattern was amazing and she had so many other adorable patterns in her etsy store.  I chose these because they seemed perfect for a baby born in Costa Rica!

After getting the perfect photos of these cute sandals the girls and I went out to blow some bubbles.  Why are bubbles so entertaining?  Margo, using her Spanish said “Mom, can I blow the burbujas?”  She is getting better and better!

She looks like she is six years old in this photo.  I can’t believe how BIG she is getting!

Now, I have learned something about Thelma.  She is a watermelon fiend.  No joke.  She scraps every bit of pink from the rind and then keeps on going.  And if a bowl of watermelon is put out for everyone, she will literally eat every single piece.  Matthew and Jesse witnessed this on their visit.  She is a watermelon monster.

Buts she is cute while eating it!  Well… until I have to pry the rind from her fingers while she screams at the top of her lungs.

I put Thelma down for her nap and Jason set up a kiddie pool for the girls.  Larry, Jason, Matt and I sat in the shade and talked for hours while the girls played.  It was lovely.
