Well, we have been settling in nicely here, I have (almost) finished organizing and it is beginning to feel like home.  I absolutely love where we are living… everything around us is breathtakingly beautiful.  Although Thelma has been in a mood lately… I’m not sure if it is the move, or maybe some new teeth but it has been a bit difficult.  Let me show you what I mean.

This seems to be how she is feeling.

And this is what she is ALWAYS doing.  Needless to say it makes getting things done a whole lot harder.  But on the bright side, there has been more cuddling than I ever thought possible.

So I decided to take my two little ladies for a walk.  At first Thelma was all excited!

She loves the dirt road!  This is right outside our door, it is such an empty road that we can walk all over it!

Here is a  view of the street right when we walk out the door and turn to the left.

 

It rained pretty heavily last night so there were a few puddles around, which I had to stop Thelma from stepping in!

At about this point we started to lose Thelma.  She would plop herself down and play in the dirt, and I would walk ahead a little bit.  Margo did not like this, she ran back to Thelma and took her arm and walked her back to me.

As you can see Thelma was not impressed.

This ia  a pic of an amazing tree.  It is absolutely huge, I will need to get a pic of the whole thing sometiime.  At this point Thelma and Margo were ready to turn back and when we turrned around this was the view.

Amazing.  I love it.  I love the sounds, the smells and the view.  We could hear what sounded like a hundred monkeys in the distance, birds singing and so much more.  It seems like the perfect spot to teach a child to ride a bike, or to walk a dog without a leash.
